The purpose

Our client is a multinational company linked to the automotive sector, which annually integrates newly formed into its structure, which are integrated in different areas of the structure and which the company prepares for future evolution.
In a context of high search for the best young talents, the challenge was to differentiate themselves in the market and create a positive experience for all the candidates involved in the process, projecting the values ​​and culture of the brand with this talent segment.
 
The way
Three objectives were defined: to identify and recruit the best talents, developing and implementing a model that would attract young people with high potential to join the organization; use different methodologies and assessment tools that allow you to select the best candidates efficiently, in line with the best market practices; innovate in the format with the objective of creating a differentiating candidate experience, which enhances the company's EVP.
Having these objectives in mind, the attraction and selection process was designed, combining different sources of sourcing adapted to the target in question and a selection flow with a mix of online and in-person tools, to reduce costs associated with the process.
The automation of some screening steps allowed a better efficiency in the screen out of candidates not suited to the profile and although the number of candidates in the face-to-face stages is lower than in previous years, their quality was superior, which allowed to improve efficiency selection process.
 
 
The impact
The redesign of the attraction and selection process for the Trainee program, allowed the Organization to respond to the various challenges it had: Ensuring that the program continues to respond to the business needs and expectations of internal stakeholders, that the candidate profile sought adds value to the Organization, while the process is appealing to candidates, through the use of differentiating tools and methodologies, maintaining the assumptions of rigor, quality and demand of the process, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
