The purpose

In recent times, “change” has, practically, been the watchword in the business world. Associated with this change have been disclosed by splits and mergers of companies that look like this, as their structures have changed, often needing an external “look”.
In this sense, and as a result of a spin-off of a client of ours, its HR structure was reduced to just one element, which at this stage, would be fully allocated to monitoring the process of cultural sedimentation and validating new legal requirements.
Thus, the need for specialized support was identified, to support the stabilization of the HR function and processes in this structure, now autonomous, and one of our consultants became part of it. From that moment on, a close relationship was developed not only with the respective Human Resources Department, but also with the main internal stakeholders.
 
The way
After identifying the need for this specialized support, Argo Fit proposed to allocate 100% of one of its consultants and, thus, adapted its proposal ensuring that its responsibility would be:

  • Ensure the survey of training needs and ensure the execution of that plan;

  • Elaborate and monitor internal recruitment processes and trainee programs;

  • Monitor the needs of different internal stakeholders;

  • Prepare integration and reception plans;

  • Monitor the performance evaluation process;

  • Ensure the production of HR indicator reports to the international group;

  • Update the HR processes to be published internally;

  • Organize events common to interntional and local structures.

Never forgetting the importance and sensitivity that a spin-off process presupposes, it was assumed as a priority that it had the least possible impact on employees and cultural perception in relation to the company. Thus, we looked for identify the best practices in the market, in order to be able to align them with the culture that we aspired to maintain, ensuring the greatest possible alignment and employee satisfaction.
 
The impact
A project that was expected to last for 3 months, saw its time lengthen to 17 months, due the partnership relationship and the maximization of results that were achieved, since, throughout the entire process, the fact that we are physically at the Client, allows a closer and more effective monitoring with all the interlocutors.
In this way, Argo Fit and the Client recognize the benefits that this type of solution can bring.
