New ways for Companies to recruit

With the growth of some industries, the speed in recruiting and integrating the right profiles in companies is increasingly critical. The truth is that in recent years, there has been a great change in the paradigm of this area, with an increasingly predominant role played by technology, which has brought about some new ways of recruiting/attracting talent for organizations:

Social Media

This form of recruitment is not "new", however it has assumed an increasing relevance, allowing companies to search and identify profiles with a specific skill set. LinkedIn is one of the references in this area, with more than 332M users worldwide, with the most diverse experiences and in the most diverse industries. Candidates are increasingly aware of the importance of having their profile online, updated and with a presentation of relevant information, so that a potential recruiter can reach them more easily. Often, these candidates are not proactively looking for a new professional opportunity, but they increasingly see the profile of their profile as a bet for the future.


Crowdsourcing

Crowdsourcing platforms have had an exponential proliferation in the market, although in Portugal there are still few players in this area. The concept is simple and implies low investment levels for companies: companies advertise their job opportunities on a platform that everyone can access, being able to refer candidates with a profile, receiving in return a reward if the candidate suggested by you to be admitted to the position.

 

Mobile Recruitment  

Increasingly, companies have realized the importance of providing platforms that allow people to apply for job opportunities via their mobile phones. These platforms can be used as a way for companies to present their value proposition, making videos and other content available to candidates. Additionally, they can also be a means, through a gamification logic (that is, a game), of applying and screening candidates for a given opportunity.
